Try closing the studio and open it again also you can try with deleting project.json and check if extension is properly installed in chrome browser.

Use open browser activity And choose browser type as chrome in properties panel

You can switch back to standard design and use the standard properties instead of modern design also.

If you click on “Indicate application to automate”, and then click on website you want to automate is now working?
