How does the 'Constants' sheet work in Config file?

Hi, just wondering how the constant sheet in config file of UiPaths REFramework is used excactly?
I want to change my constant for Timeout which is 30000 by default. If I change it in the config.xlsx file, do I need to do any changes in the activities and their properties? or does it simply change by changing it from the config file…
