How can I add .gitignore file in uipath?

I am trying to add .gitignore file to uipath project in studion but I am unable to add it, how can I add it?

Hi @savantsa I have had the same issue. Check your online repo as these old folders are already committed into it. You will want: Remove your current gitignore file. This is so we can clean up your remote environment Delete the .settings and .local folder for all your projects. Don’t worry, this wont break anything as when you reopen the project they will auto generate Once all local and settings folders are deleted, commit the changes and push to remote to reflect these in your reposit…

Studio 19.4.4 - Git commit/push and Ignoring files/folders?

Does the Uipath Studio implementation of Git support ignoring files/folders ? Like the REF exception screensnap folder. Studio’s git seems to ignore a .gitignore file by including it in the commit !!! Is there a way to configuration Studio for Git to ignore specified files/folders for commits ?
