Getting an exception on Kill Process

Hi,

I want to close the folder and so I have used Kill Process activity with given the process name as “explorer”.
But on sudden I started getting an issue like - Kill process : Encountered errors while trying to kill a process.

Please help if anyone knows !

if you just want to close the folder you can use either close application or close window and indicate the window which you want to close… there is no need to use kill process just for close folder purpose

Hi @hemal,

I tried to close folders using Kill process activity with process name as explorer. It didn’t throw any error for me.

Can you please elaborate on your issue. Provide complete exception message.

I am using killprocess with process name as ‘explorer’.

And getting an exception like,

Hi @hemal,

i hope you are trying to (IE)kill the process

Process Name is iexplore

if you are trying to close any folder window, use close window activity
Process Name : explorer

can you restart UiPath and check again

It is strange. I mean sometimes i get that issue on sudden base.
