Get Text activity (Not working

Hi guys,

For some reason whenever I select indicate text studio will flash and nothing happens. Has anyone experianced this and managed to fix?

can be a problem with browser extensions. Which browser is in use and is the corresponding extension properly working?

The extension is installed in chrome and looks to be the most up to date version.

is installed and is working are two different things.
Give a try on:

  • Main Menu → Design → UiExplorer
  • use indicate element from the stand alone opened UiExplorer and try to point to the element involved for get text.

Is it also flashing?

So it says that the UI explorer failed to load, so even that isn’t working.

so on a next analysis step we can explorer:
Design → Manage Packages

  • change the version of UiPath.UiAutomation.Activities to an earlier version
  • change the version of UiPath.UiAutomation.Activities to a newer / current version

Check UiExplorer again

Maybe also do a restart of UiPath Studio

Instead of Get text Activity Can you try with Screen Scraping

This also just causes studio to flash but then nothing happens.
