Hello
How do I know if the version I have installed is the free version?
Thanks

Welcome to the community
When you open orchestrator you can check license from admin-> licensing
Or when you open studio …on main home page on left bottom you would see the details of free or community or enterprise
Cheers
Hi,
What I see is this :
Is this the free version?
If not, how do I download the free version?
Thanks a lot
It is an enterprise trail version
please go to orchestrator…on right top click on question mark symbol and select download…you will see all the available versions or studio’s there…you can download anything
I believe your orchestrator is not communiyt …you activiated a trail license and hence you are seeing this
if you need community then delete the organization and recreate newly with the community url again
this is where you can register for community
cheers
As the name implies it’s a trial version which it’s free
For applying
Cheers @ronis
Yes, I know the trial version is free, but what happens when the trial period ends?
Will this version still work? Will it be blocked? Will I lose some of the functions?
Will I need to download a free version from somewhere else?
Very unclear to me.
Thanks
It will be converted to Free plan.
You will lose all additional functions that are available in Trial Enterprise and only have what is available within free plan.
You can find all info here:
https://docs.uipath.com/automation-cloud/automation-cloud/latest/admin-guide/about-licensing
Hope this helps.
Cheers
once the trail completes your license will change to free where you can access only studiox and studio wont be available
if you need community version you need to use a different email and create a new one in community or delete the current organization and recreate
cheers
So if I start now to use studiox instead of studio then I will “feel“ now what I will be filling after trial is over. True?
Is community version also free?
Can I test mobile with the free or community version?
yes you can do the mobile testing with community version
Studiox will not have mobile testing
community version is free and for use of non commercial purpose
cheers
If I am a small company and I need to test only web, what version should I use, the community or the free?
for testing purposes and non commercial you can go with community
the free pan will have only studiox which is supported more for citizen developers and have limitations, like complex scenarios, statemachines, test automations are no supported in studiox
so decide accordingly
cheers
What does non commercial mean?
Where can I find and install the community version?
Non commercial means you should not be using it for selling or at an enterprise level…you can use for testing, exploring etc
You can register with a new email in community can and get the community version

cheers
What do you mean by “selling”? that I’m not allowed to sell UiPath or that I’m not allowed to sell the product of which I use UiPath to test?
What is “an enterprise level”?
Sorry for all these question but after 2 years of using Katalon Studio free license in parallel of using Katalon Studio paid license, They suddenly
Remembered to let us know that we can’t use a free and paid versions at the same time leaving us only with a 2,000$ paid version and the
Ability to either run or develop tests.
These are the terms
If using community version you are not allowed to sell the automations you do using UiPath…UiPath you anways cannot sell
enterprise level means not to use UiPath community version for anything that is commercial for your company for any automations that have a benefit for a group…community is solely for testing and exploration purpose and for individuals to explore
check acceptable usage terms here
cheers
So can you give me an example of using UiPath to test a product that you can’t sell?
If you can’t sell it, why would you need to test it?
Say you are new to automation and before purchasing license you want to explore if it can do the job or not…then you can use community
say a person wants t learn how to automate tasks for them community is there
A company wants to automate their tasks and they only want to explore but not use them then community can be used…once they want to use them then they need to shift to licensed versions
cheers
Community should be used for non-commercial activities. If by “test” you mean software testing, then you’d need to use the “Free” version or a paid license.
Ok, so bottom line is that if I have a product which I sell, then I would have to use the paid version, even if I am a one person company.
