Converting to Date format from string with no delimitors

It sounds like the trigger is set to Kill instead of Stop, which is an improper way of doing this. Kill is like killing a process in Windows Task Manager - it just immediately kills it without any regard for anything else. You should set the trigger to Stop instead of Kill, and then use the Should Stop activity inside the automation so it detects when Orchestrator has told it to stop, moves to an “end process” sequence (with nothing after it) and therefore completes gracefully.

Cloud-Based Orchestrator - An Error Occurred

Is anyone having an issue with Cloud-Based Orchestrator right now? When I go to our URL it spins for a few seconds then I get a message that an error occurs. I see no issue on the UiPath Status page: It doesn’t look like our bots are collecting jobs either. Steven

Immediate Retry Approach for Failed Transactions in the RE-Framework

@sasadrinksprite If uts queue based then you can just select retry number in queue If it is a local transactiontype then give the count of retey in config Local retry will be immediate…if the question is how to make queue item Based immediate …then we can manually create logic to add wueue item With higher priority when failed so that immediately same item is picked and add only till a mac number and for this retry in queue should ve set to 0 Cheers

@Hewitt_Trinh, If no cleaner approach available than this then I think readability and maintainability we will have to maintain in annotations. Couldn’t agree more. Thanks a lot Paul, this was really helpful with understanding the correct flow. The design on the flow in the process I am working with is dated and poorly constructed. I am trying to make it a little bit better but I cant afford building it again from scratch. With your insight I put the “should stop” in the right place and also built a little flow so It can work with a queue and now the robot sets a new transaction for itself (for 30 minutes later) every time it finishes checking for new insta…

@VasilD why dont you set the body format as application/json and send the body in the body property. something like chr(34) + "name" + chr(34) [image] chr(34) because json requires double quotes. You can also paste your json body in a txt file read that and pass that variable in body. try this and let me know.

Auto-screenshot for activities (informative screenshot)

Sometimes we lose the files in .screenshots or an activity is copied from one project to another so then there is no screenshot. How about a setting for Studio where we can turn on auto-screenshot, and as the project runs (in Studio) it collects any missing screenshots for the activities?

How to add a Data table to the Orchestrator Queue

@Konda_Sai_Charan_Goud you cannot add complex type directly…what you can do is you can serialize the datatable and add the serialized strign and then deserialize when needed basically you need to convert datatable to string for that you can use output table activity and for deserializing you can use generate datatable…and that string can be added to queue if you want to add each row separately to each queue item then you can use bulk add queue items cheers

Thank you both I realized my stupid mistake. I was writing in the Value to save the entire assign like this intArray = stringArray.Select(Function(x) Convert.ToInt32(x)).ToArray() instead of just stringArray.Select(Function(x) Convert.ToInt32(x)).ToArray().

Parallel activities

I don’t think so. It’s necessary to judge if A occurs or not even if using Parallel for B. This means we need to wait to judge and both case’s processing time are almost the same. Also, you said “Psuedo-parallel”. Can you please explain that to me. Parallel activity processes one of the lanes (not multiple lanes) at same time. Feature Suggestion for activity 'Multiple Assign'

My suggestion is that you can drag an existing ‘Assign’-activity on top of ‘Multiple Assing’ as a way to to move that variable assignment. This makes it easier to consolidate assignments and avoids misspelling and assigning the wrong values.

Hi @postwick , In one of the process that I’m automating there is a web application in which I’ve a combobox inside which there are like ~1800 IDs which should be selected in batches of 10s or 50s. So in order to select them I need press ctrl + shift +down arrow(10s or 50s we desired of).

Error when starting job from Orchestrator

Hi @s0biesky Can you tell in which of studio have you published the project. If it’s Community Version of UiPath Studio then the job will not run since orchestrator version is 2023.10.0. Try publishing the project in the version of 2023.10.0 version of UiPath Studio or 2023.4 version of UiPath Studio and check once. Regards

More Options to Get Queue Items Property FilterStrategy

It’s a feedback for Get Queue Items activity. We more often requires to filter queue items based on reference contains some specific value like ticket number or business unit. We have only two options as of now: StartWith Equals It would be must have at least one more option that is Contains Other good to have would be Not Equals, Ends With. Thanks, Ashok

Hi @shehani.perera , Use “Get attribute activity” to get the Attribute ‘TableRow’ by keeping the aaname in the selector as JAF_TU2 Then use the click activity and in the click activity selector pass the tableRow variable which you got as a output from the Get attribute activity. Regards,

HI, How about the following step? Get the table as DataTable using ExtractTable wizard. Iterte the datatable using ForEachRow activity then check the row contains target such as JAF_TU2. Please set int32 variable (let’s say idx) at Index property of ForEachRow If target exists, Check checkbox of Unlock using Check/Uncheck activity with dynamic selector (Probably tableRow attribute can be used for it) [image] Regards,

Output → dt [image] => For Each Row in DataTable dt Assign: CurrentRow("Planned Start") = DateTime.ParseExact(CurrentRow("Planned Start").ToString,{"dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss","d/M/yyyy HH:mm"},System.Globalization.CultureInfo.InvariantCulture,System.Globalization.DateTimeStyles.None).ToString("dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss") => Write Range Workbook dt back to excel.
