@AndyMenon , I guess this is an approved bug After updating my Studio to the latest version now, 23.4.2, I do have the same issue. And all the methods you mentioned as a work around does work. ExcelReadRange Activity, custom range

Hi @dbukk Are there some more columns after G, which you don’t wanna read? If that is the case, please do the following, read the whole range starting from A3. Store it in a DataTable variable, retrieve the count of rows from here using ReadRowCount = datatablename.rowCount Then again use a read range activity: pass “A3:G”+ReadRowCount.toString. Regular expression not working but it works at Regex101

@Juan_Paz I just observed that the RegEx pattern that you are using to retain the numbers & remove that whitespaces is not actually working when the whitespace is present in the end of the data. [IMG_4320] If your sole purpose is to remove the whitespace, then I’d suggest you to go with the Trim function, like portapapeles2.ToString.Trim Or, if you are determined to achieve this via RegEx, please give the following pattern a try: \s*(\d+)\s* [IMG_4321] Hope this helps, Best Regards.

File Change Trigger V3

What level of folder access is required in order for the File Change Trigger activity to work? I tried attaching a trigger to a folder I have read-only access to, and the trigger completely ignores any activity occurring in the folder. No error messages, just doesn’t detect anything. @UiPath or someone else, any thoughts on this?

Create HTML Content takes first row as header

It seems to be a known issue. Somebody proposed a workaround here, you can take a look: Post HTML email with datatable but doesn’t contain header - Help / Studio - UiPath Community Forum It basically creates a fake row as a first row, which will be skipped. Your header will be shifted to 2nd row and displayed as a header. Quite annoying, but it should work.

Hi @manasdas6224 If Your questions is How can automate the excel automation in UiPath web? In UiPath web there is no option to read the excel by using read range workbook. There is no read range workbook activity in UiPath web. You can read the google sheets in UiPath web. The UiPath web is only integrated with the cloud Google and microsoft only. Hi @ShivaniD Answer would be Option A. Explanation: Based on all the 4 options idx value can be modified for stable automation. Other than idx values. Prioritise Queue Retry Mechanism

Thanks for your suggestion. But as stated I know how to work around it. It’s that I don’t ‘want’ to have to work around it, in order to maintain a standard through all workflows without creating too much overhead. Therefor I would like to suggest it as an extention of the existing out-of-the-box retry mechanism of Orchestrator queues.

Use wildcards. Record the selector using a click activity. Then use the uiexplorer to make sure the selector uses the correct ‘content’ to apply your businessrule. @sarathic If the error is coming on step status…then first check the variable values you are passing in the step status to see if any of those values are null…for that you can leverage locals panel… Apart from that you missed giving test id etc …check if giving those would resolve… Then assign varibles for output values like status and all and see what it gives may be it can provide more info… Also its worth checking exception details ,that might contain more info Cheers

Where is the latest video tutorial and activities

@Parker The latest videos are yet to be updated in the UiPath academy pages…for now ypu can check few youtube tutorials whoch have activities related to the modern design The activities that you are seeing in older version had been upgraded to a new design called modern…if you want to see only activities you can switch off modern design from the studio settings page…or go to activities panel on left → click filter icon → select classic…now you would be able to see classic activities as welll…f…

Value of type 'String' cannot be converted to 'UiPath.Database.DatabaseConnection

Hi @Aditya10989 , You are getting the connection string from json right pass it in the Connect database Then u will get the output as dbconnection variable . Pass that variable in the disconnect database . So what ever you are getting in json don’t pass in disconnect database

Get Cc receipients from Outlook Mails

CC Property will return a System.Net.Mail.MailAddressCollection [grafik] So we can check e.g. within the addresses with [grafik] YourMailVar.CC.Any(Function (x) x.Address.Contains("cashin")) ToString() will return for an MailAddressCollection (with only 1 ID contained) [grafik] we got the name (red) and the address (blue)
