Hi @Soudios, I would advice you do either draw a simple folder structure schematic OR even better Make a zip of your folder structure (without your required file name and type) This way @prasath17 can guide you easily. A side note : @prasath17 i wonder how many Regex expressions are hidden in that RegexPractice folder of yours!

Hi I believe some of the application won’t allow the select that drop down with SELECT ITEM activity due to uielement node attribute and it’s value or missing of SELECT TAG Is there any option to type in that field instead of scrolling and searching for a text So if you have the text to be searched and clicked we can rather type in that text using TYPE INTO activity which is another workaround Cheers @lertsak.n

Comment Out Clarification

Hi @SH_94, It will run the workflow if there are no errors in the first invoked workflow in your case the Try Catch_Updated_Chage. But I see there is an warning message in the Try Catch_Updated_Chage workflow. Since there is a warning sign the robot will not run. Normal Behaviour By default any commented out code will be ignored by UiPath. Only code which is uncommented and linked to the flowchart will be executed at run time.

Hi, Not sure what the workflow has within it. You will have to open it and check what the workflow does yourself. If there is some complex logic you can post a screenshot of it in the forum. But by just looking at the workflow we can’t say what it does.

Cannot sign into Orchestrator or Studio anymore

It looks like this issue is resolved. When I tried signing into Orchestrator today, I did not have a robot configured. I went to Tenant → Users → clicked on the 3 dots next to my name → Edit → Optional Robot Settings → Clicked to automatically configure an Attended Robot (which also resulted in creating a workspace) Then, when I went to open a .xaml file, Studio had me sign in and choose the version of Studio. Delete Empty Excel in Folder

Hi @Yudhisteer_Chintaram1, So you get a NullReferenceException. Do mention what kind of error message you get in your question, it helps a lot to resolve an issue in the forum. All you have to do is to use try-catch activity and look for NullReferenceException type of error. If the error exists then delete file, if not read the content. Here is how you can achieve it. issue is with your excel file… column B and column D is having negative numbers with the whole column formatted as date. which is overflow change your column type to General.

Hi @Hurmet_Noka, Here I am assuming your perfomer takes no longer than 3 hours and 45 minutes Lets take the Dispatcher first. If your queue items are added quite quickly you can schedule your performer to run after a static time delay. Say if your dispatcher starts at 10:00 am and takes 10 minutes, your perform can be scheduled to run at 10:15 with a 5 minute buffer. Hi, Xor operator evaluates both expressions. So, in the above condition, String.IsNullOrEmpty(Array2items(2).ToString) is always evaluated even if the number of items is 2 or less. Parsing an unknown file type

It looks like protobuf text format. If you don’t have a schema definition - you may create your own, based on the output and use TextFormat parser from protobuf library (or convert to json, etc)

Orchestrator License change through APi

How to timeout input dialog activity

Hi Best way to overcome this is to use a parallel activity. Use parallel activity in one side keep Input Dialog Activity and another side keep some Delay (delay within click activity properties) then click activity ( which will click OK or CANCEL on the Input Dialog popup, based on your requirement) You can give condition as well in parallel activity. Transfering excel update to SAP

As @ermanoj3101 said you can have a status column and there while updating the excel file mark the status column as Updated So in the workflow you can filter the datatable as updated records there you can use for each row activity and inside that place your activities to update in SAP system Once it is done you can Change the column status to Success Hope this may help you Thanks

SAP in PIP maximum screen

Job trigger in orchestrator on basis of file

you can use a queue base trigger in the loop use add queue item, whenever it got the file it will populate a queue and push output into orchestrator use queue base trigger for the process, whenever new transaction added process will automatically got triggered thanks

Thank you all for helping me, So i did some changes(was just doing experiment to the statement in the 1st assign activity ) and as soon as i removed (.toString) from Directory.Getfiles(“path”),it worked because what i was doing was,trying to assign this string to a 1-dimensional array of objects which is not possible with string Thought to update you all coz you all were helping me. Extracting Data from Excel using Column Alphabet instead

Hi, But I just need help if there is a way to extract the data by typing in the column alphabet for example column B from excel to be “B” into the input dialog instead of keying in “2”. Can you try to use the following expression? UiPath.Excel.Helpers.ExcelUtilities.ConvertColumnLetterToColumnIndex(ColumnLetter) ConvertColumnLetterToColumnIndex method returns index number of the column like R1C1 style. Robot Creation -- Help
