I am attempting to iterate through the elements below with the checkboxes as the element and the name as the label. After clicking “Save and close” the elements do not seem to save. I have tried running the process and StudioX is skipping this action.
I have used the same action for similar elements on the same webpage and have had no issues. I have all packages updated, and have tried creating the steps in a new project with the same results.
I’ve been posting about this for a while (so have others) and there is no response from UiPath.

I am struggling a bit to reproduce this issue. Any additional details would be highly appreciated (screenshots, small video, or best case scenario → a dummy process that reproduces this on our forum by using topic list as the sample UI elements).
Here are my element selections (Checkboxes as elements and text as labels)
After selecting, I “Save & close”
They show in StudioX as selected and saved normally, but when I try to Edit configuration, the elements/labels did not save. This is also evident when I try to run the process and any actions with the elements are not performed.
There are two other columns on the same webpage that I am running the same process for. One column has no issues and functions as expected, but the other has the same issue with not saving. I have recreated this process in a new project and the same problems occur. I hope this explanation is helpful.

Thank you for the steps. I have tried on two websites with a similar input box setup:
But I was unable to reproduce this issue, but I was testing on the latest StudioX preview 2024.2.1 (at this point, I am not sure if the newer Studio version is the solution).
But to try something - could you please try with the latest patch of your current UIAutomation package version, and then with the latest preview version of this package?
I’m experiencing a similar situation right now with Studio, not StudioX. I set the Element and Label, hit save&close, and am returned to studio with nothing selected and a message “Target element must be set” on the activity like I hadn’t done anything.

My post above was with an account I can’t access now. But to answer your question I was attempting to automate a table in PMWeb. This application is for internal use only unfortunately, but I have been working with support to review the issue.
I am having the same issue.
Basically after selecting the elements and hitting save the system takes me back to UiPath but the selection is not saved at all.
