Is there a way to find the file that is in a specific folder without knowing its name?
I have tried putting * in the query field but it returns an error, I know the folder name

You can use Windows File Explorer to manually search for a file in a specific folder using a wildcard. Open File Explorer, navigate to the folder, and then use the search bar with an asterisk () to match all files.
For example, you can type *.txt
to find all text files in the folder. If you don’t know the file extension, you can simply use an asterisk (* ) to list all files in that folder.
You can also use the Command Prompt to search for files in a specific folder with a wildcard.
I cant use the file explorer as the file is hosted in sharepoint and not on a local machine
Access your SharePoint site using a web browser.
Locate the search box in the SharePoint site, often at the top or on the home page.
In the search box, enter the folder location or any other known information related to the file you are looking for.
My requirements do not allow me to do this due to security reasons, so if I can im trying to use the office 365 activities
You can just leave it blank. Or if you know the file’s extension, you could write it eg. “.docx” or something.
Not sure why I didnt try this, thank you!
