Dear @User_98,

Welcome to the UiPath Community Forum.

Rather than going with vb.Net or C# code, I will request you to try @balupad14 Word Activities library. It has awesome activities and will serve your purpose of extracting tables from a word document.

I have tagged him in the post so that if required he can pitch in and help you with the intended task. But I dont think once you have reviewed the package, you will need any assistance.

Hi @shantanu_chande,

Thanks for your reply. Yes we can use BalaReva activities from marketplace but i have few questions could you please clarify…

  1. Currently i am working on OnPremisesTrialStudio version, Can we download the package from marketplace in OnPremisesTrialStudio if yes, how?

2.Currently i am working in PHARMA industry where i need to care of security issues. Will downloading this package from marketplace effect their security policies?

@User_98,

Here are answers for you.

  1. Yes, you can download the NuGet package and add to your UiPath studio project with manage packages.
    Follow this tutorial if required.
Studio - Managing Activities Packages (uipath.com)
  2. Regarding privacy/security policies. as per marketplace listing The publisher states that this listing does not process any personal information. So you should be good but check with client or Center Of Excellence team if you have.

Thanks,
Ashok

Hi @User_98 ,

I am BalaReva.

  1. Of course , you can download the package and use it for On-premises.
  2. The security issue means I never access or get any personal and system information through the package.

Speacial Thanks to @shantanu_chande and @ashokkarale

Thank you
