I’m getting the error: Cannot communicate with UiPath Platform

The native part of the extension is not configured correctly.
Re-install the extension from UiPath Studio.

i do not have admin rights to my machine, i’m having to have someone uninstall and install every morning. My company states that they have whitelisted the extensions and that they should work.

Details from company email are below:
UI path extensions were already whitelisted but in this case the software installed a particular version linked extension as part of the “software” installation process.
So by installing the software as a par machine install and to the users Program files location (instead of their appdata location), will enable the UiPath extension to install under the users machine policy reg hive.

i’m running studio version 2023.10.3 and below is the version of the extension installed:

Any help would be appreciated as this has been going on now for 2 weeks.

Try installing edge extension from UiPath Studio.
→ Go to Home page of UiPath Studio → Navigate to Tools option → Click on UiPath Extensions → Hit on Install of edge extension, select the Current user option.

If the above will not work.

I think your laptop or system is company provided one. May be due to admin security policies it can be blocked by IT Team, Reach out to IT Team they may solve your issue.
