Excel not saving when data is refreshed

Hi, I am having the following problem:

An Excel file is having data updated with power query, after a new file is moved to designated folder. This module consists of Refresh Data activity within Excel Process Scope with Save File ticked.

This process works fine in Debug and Run in studio, but when it gets published and ran on unattended machine we noticed the source Excel file is not changed. Only date modified gets changed which indicates something happened, just not what was expected.

I would appreciate any suggestion.

I am encountering this issue as well. Using Excel Activities 23.2.4 There is nothing specific called out in the bug fixes for 23.2.5

If it is of any help, we figured out that the issue was resolved by moving file from shared folder to a local folder.

Why these Excel activities do not work with files on shared network remains unbeknownst.
