Error: Cannot set unknown member '{http://schemas.microsoft.com/netfx/2009/xaml/activities}VisualBasic.Settings'

Hi all. I created a workflow in Studio and saved it as a template, and I’m trying to add it to an older workflow on a different PC. When I debug and try to run the invoke workflow activity I get the error: Invoke Main workflow: Cannot set unknown member ‘{http://schemas.microsoft.com/netfx/2009/xaml/activities}VisualBasic.Settings’.

I have tried updating the dependencies on the older workflow, to match the version of Studio I created the template on. However this is causing issues and makes Studio freeze when I hit debug. Does anyone have any ideas on where to start troubleshooting this issue so I can add the template to the workflow? Thank you.

ideally the issue caused due to backward compatibility I believe

as you developed in version higher there might be some dependencies which are not available in older version you are trying…better not to do that at all
