I have a task where I need to download an excel file from a SharePoint folder, which is a subfolder of a site on client’s SharePoint.
For security reasons, I was given access by client only to this one folder, not whole SharePoint site or any other subfolder.
So I only have read/write access in this one folder where the excel file is, and I need to download this file from there.
I don’t have full access to entire SharePoint site.
Is there any way to download this file?
I have tried with UiPath Team SharePoint activities package, Get file activity and with MicrosoftOffice365 package, Download file activity.
But when I enter the path to the folder, I get error that this location can not be found.
And when I just enter the site url, I get error “Access denied”.
Is there any way to download this file without asking the permission to entire site, because I don’t think the client would approve this.
These are the values I entered:
Share point aplication scope, URL: “https://client name.sharepoint.com/:f:/r/sites/teams-6603/Shared%20Documents/3.%20Global%20Project%20Calculation/0.%20Calculation%20Robot?csf=1&web=1&e=eQsM7K”
Get file activity, Item URL: https://client name.sharepoint.com//r/sites/teams-6603/Shared%20Documents/3.%20Global%20Project%20Calculation/0.%20Calculation%20Robot/_LEAD_Template_V7_rev11_01.06.2023_PJcalc_no_Cust_Projectname_targetmarketd.xlsx?d=w209a79e2a2444182994fbee69177e651&csf=1&web=1&e=6hZC4c
