Does UiPath Remove Floating Robots in Modern Folder

I’m using version 2023.10.7 of Studio and Orchestrator. I want to create floating robots for my process, but I don’t see any option. How can I create floating robots?

I do not think that floating robots are available in this version. This version predated the beginning of the robot management. Floating robots were introduced in the later versions of Studio.

In modern folders all robots are like floating robots only …unless you create a machine user mapping any robot can be used on any machine

Hello @Nikhil_Jadhav1 To use Floating Robots, upgrade to at least UiPath 2018.3+ (or preferably a newer LTS version like 2021.10 or 2023.x).

In UiPath 2013.10.7, floating robots were not yet introduced. The concept of Floating Robots was introduced in later versions of UiPath, specifically in 2018.3. Since you are using a much older version (2013.10.7), you won’t find the option to create floating robots.
