Unable to make floating robot available in lesson Orchestrator 2018.3 - video part 2 in level 2 - Orchestrator Training

Hello,

I am currently doing the Level 2 - Orchestrator 2018.3 Training in UiPath 2019.8.0 Community Edition with Orchestrator 2018.8.5.

I am 100% sure that I have followed the instructions outlined in the video perfectly.

However, my Orchestrator Settings shows “Status: Unlicensed” where as the instructor’s shows “Status: Connected, licensed”.

Also, his robot becomes available whereas mine is disconnected.

When I move on in the video and use the Standard Robot instead of the Floating Robot everything seems to work fine.

Any clues as to what I can do to make this work for the floating robot?

Hi,
For floating robot you need to create Machine template , it doesn’t work with Standard machine.

I’m pretty sure that I have. It’s called demoMachine. Like in the instructional video.
