Does office 365 scope need outlook installed?

So i was planning to use office 365 , im wondering what the prerequisites and does the it needs any application or account configuration on the system ?

@indiedev91,

No you don’t require Outlook or Microsoft Office installed on system to use Office 365 activities.

It uses Microsoft Graph API to communicate with server.
