Developer cannot see my automations

Hi I added a developer to Orchestrator and they cannot see any automation. The automations are in my workspace. Do they need to be shared? If so, how do I do that?

Hi @John_Feringa,

Someone else can’t see automations in your workspace.

You need to publish your automations in a separate folder and add developer also to that folder, then those would be visible.

Hi @John_Feringa

Yes, automations in My Workspace are private. You can either share them directly or move them to a Shared Folder. To share, go to Orchestrator → Automations → My Workspace, select the automation, click Share, and add the developer with permissions. Alternatively, move the automation to a Shared Folder in Orchestrator → Folders and assign the developer the “Automation Developer” role or View, Edit, and Execute permissions.
If you found helpful mark as a solution. Thanks

@John_Feringa

Myworkspace is completely login user folder, its better to create another folder and share all of your projects over there and give the permission to access that folder to specific users.

Happy automation!!

@John_Feringa

My workspace is mainly a folder for your personal projects only. If you are planning to share this project with your colleagues

Open your project from Studion
Change the publish folder from myworkspace to any other folder. Example Shared

Publish the project

Above steps will publish your project to a shared folder.

Now login to orchestrator and select your tenant and the folder where you published the latest project.

Goto Automations → Process

Click on Add Process
Select the package and add the process

Now request your colleague to refresh the assistant. If he is also connected to your orchestrator - Hopefully he should be able to see your process as well

Hie @John_Feringa My personal Workspace is only for you or so the other person can’t see or access the workspace . so if you want to add another person create a new folder then assign that person . with specific access and role. and add the process so that who assign on that folder can see the process.

cheers

Hi @John_Feringa

As mentioned my workspace will be user specific folder and team mates can’t access ones personal workspace

There will be shared folder you need to add process there
Also if required based on domain and work you can add folder Sparta from shared and in that folder also u can add processstrong text
