This week we installed UiPath Studio on different systems. But in a few cases the recording functionality shows a different behaviour with the SAP GUI for Windows. To be sure that this behaviour is not a consequence of users customizing we analyzed different settings in the Windows registry. It was laborious. That’s why I expanded my SAPGUIInfo activity and implemented it as a dotNET library. Now it is possible to get all information you need with a tiny PowerShell script.
You can find out all the necessary information at a glance. Is SAP GUI for Windows installed, the location and version, the using theme, is SAP GUI Scripting installed and enabled, important information about the configuration etc. So it is very easy to get an overview quickly.
You can find the library at my homepage or at the UiPath Marketplace.
