Will there be support for custom activities in either .NET Core or .NET 5+? I’m building some activities that use internal libraries that are dependent on .NET Standard 2.1, which means I have to figure out how to downgrade them if I want to use it as a dependency in any UiPath projects.

Support for .NET 5 is coming in the next UiPath release (21.10).
As of now, you can test support for .NET 5 with the latest community version (21.6) as per indicated in the lastest community preview release, read here:
