'Could not load type x from assembly' error when running process from robot

I have published multiple processes from UI Path Studio, and when attempting to run these from robot assistants I get the following error:

Could not load type ‘System.Activities.TextExpressionBase`1’ from assembly ‘UiPath.Workflow, Version=6.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null’

I’ve seen a related topic regarding studio and robot versions but am unable to download the Enterprise version of studio as I am currently on a Pro license.

Version of Studio: 2023.8.0

Version of robots: 2023.6.1-preview, and 2023.4.4

I have attempted to uninstall and re-install both studio and robot assistants and can’t find a way to specify which version of either is installed.

Note that both processes run fine when ran from within studio, and one of them actually ran fine on a robot assistant a few weeks ago (I’m guessing my studio updated since then?)

Any advice is appreciated

Hi,

Basically robot doesn’t support process which is made by higher version Studio.

If you have pro license, perhaps you should use Enterprise version from ResourceCenter in AutomationCloud.
