Connection problems with access database

Hello ,

We are trying to connect to a database, however we are facing an issue relate with the version of project (Legacy - windows), executing the same activities in Windows version, we got an error "The ‘Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0’ provider is not registered on the local machine.” We find a workaround for this kind of problem installing “Microsoft Access Database Engine 2016 Redistributable” with no positive results.

We performed the test shown in the image on the same machine with the same dependency and Access versions.

We require that it works on Windows version without updating Studio.Any suggestions on how we could mitigate this situation?

UiPath version: 22.10.7

Did you install 32 bit?

Resolution when the Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB provider is not registered on the local machine. Certain activities such as MS access, etc. will require a connection to a data source and may at times require that the customer reinstall / update the ODBC driver. Issue might occur if the 32 bit driver installer detects other 64 bit office products in the environment. Yes, I even tried forcing the 64-bit installation.

if you read the post…it would as you to install 32 bit and not 64

Sorry if I expressed myself wrong, I initially installed 32 when I saw that it didn’t work, I try 64.
