Hi,

I am having problem connecting to Microsoft Office 2016 Professional Plus Access Database in -

Windows 10 Enterprise Version 20H2

Error-
The ‘Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0’ provider is not registered on the local machine’

32bit version of the office is not allowed to install on top of 64bit, receiving error-

Any idea how this can be solved?

the error is self explanatory , install Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0 for 32 bit after uninstalling 64 bit

Thanks.
Rolling back to 32bit is an easy solution, but is mostly difficult for my organization to follow. So, I am in search an idea that can solve the purpose without changing the present condition.

Hi,

I have found a solution to this problem without changing Access from 64 to 32bit and just by saving the file in “.mdb” format which is Access 2002-2003 Database. Let me know if this works for you.
