I am working on SAP logon automation and at one point in time i had to use a click activity to select one option but instead of selecting just one particular option(in this case the option is list) it is selecting the entire tab as shown in the image below
If you want to automate SAP Menu, use this special activity SAP Menu

You an go with hotkeys to achieve this.
use “Select Menu Item” activity from UIAutomation package, after you specify the selector it should give you the option to select any of the items/sub-items in the menu
