My customer will not install any runtimes on his Citrix environment. So my question is. can I install Studio in %localappdata% (in user profile), and would I be able to run Studio every time I log on to Citrix as the same user? Are roaming profile enabled by default on Citrix environments? (the bot will be an attended)
Thanks for your help
If your VM is configured to have multiple users, then you can install the studio in one of the User
When Installing It will ask whether to install in all users or for the particular user only, choose particular user, so that you can install in a particular user only
Hope this may help you

Thanks for your fast response.
You confirmed what we can see every time we install an EXE or MSI (where we get the choice), sure. But can you confirm that a logon to a Citrix Session with a roaming profile will support this kind of installation? Have you already done this ways? By the way, VM is not the same as Citrix, right?
I don’t find much info on this, It’s bit kind of networking admin related stuff
But I found one post, hope below post may help you

Thanks Srini,
yes there are some consideration with XenDesktop and roaming profile, good that you send the link. Perhaps anyone has real experiences if this will work or not. Unfortunately we don’t have any Citrix installation.

Hi @TP2B
To use UiPath Studio in a Citrix environment without installing any runtimes, you may need to explore other options such as using a portable version of UiPath Studio that does not require installation, or working with your Citrix administrator to find alternative solutions that comply with the customer’s restrictions. It’s important to ensure that any installation or usage of UiPath Studio or other software in a Citrix environment is in compliance with your customer’s IT policies and guidelines.
Thanks!!
Thanks Nitya,
never heard about Studio Portal. What is it? Does it work just to copy files from anothers client %localappdata% folder? And what will happen with the nuget-folders, where should I get them from?
