Citrix extension query on uipath documentation notes

What is the reason for below notes in uipath documentation
“You need to install the Citrix client (Citrix Receiver or Citrix Workspace) per machine to be able to install the UiPath Extension for Citrix”
usually i am of idea that citrix receiver is installed on every machine it uses.
