Change the App/Web Recorder settings to Classic

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if it is possible to change the settings for the “App/Web Recorder” activity to classic, because when I start recording with this activity it generates activities in Modern design, but I want them in Classic.

I did uncheck the option of “Use Modern for new projects” in Studio settings, but still no luck.

Hi, If you really want to use ScreenScraping and/or DataScraping, can you try to add the following key/value in project.json as the following image? "modernBehavior": false, [image] ScreenScraping and DataScraping button will appears. [image] Regards,

Hi @Rooty,

The App/Web Recorder activity is inside of UI Automation Modern package. In this case if you need to speed up the process, you can use the App/Web Recorder that automatically generates activities (modern activities) by capturing your actions on the screen.

Hi @Gagan_Chaudhari007 The update for 2023.12.0 have removed the classic switch option. So, what ever the project is being created they will be created as modern project only. If you required you can just use the classic activities by applying the classic filter option in activities panel.
