Change name file from downloads box

Hello all, when I downloads file from Chrome in simulator mode, I was set “Type into” in name before “Click” Save but result still name before, so, How to it download file and chang to new name in background or simulate or send windows mode. Thanks

While indicating element fromt he screenshot i can see you indicated innerbox on the file…try indicating the outer box which is slightly outer to the currenr selector…

Mostly the type of it would be combo box…

Check this for more info and how the selector looks

As you have the website details…please try the selector provided or try getting the selector which is close to provided selector and use it…

To download a file and change its name in UiPath, you can use the following steps:

  1. Use the ‘Click’ activity to click on the download button or link.
  2. Once the download prompt appears, use the ‘Type Into’ activity to type the new file name.
  3. Use the ‘Type Into’ activity to send the ‘Tab’ key to move to the ‘Save’ button.
  4. Use the ‘Type Into’ activity to send the ‘Enter’ key to save the file with the new name.
