Yes of course
–its similar to how we initiate a robot installed in VDI been triggered from orchestrator
we can trigger either from orchestrator or with schedule option as well

Thank you. We are not using orchestrator. Consider I have given remote permission to develop a process and Could you please provide step by step analysis on how to invoke the robot in that VDI machine without orchestrator?

Fine
if we are not using any orchestrator to connect that VDI then we need to connect to that VDI using REMOTE DESKTOP CONNECTION option with proper user credentials using common click and type into activity
–and to simulate the process out there in the VDI we can either use image based activities like click image or we can use COMPUTER VISION activities to access the elements in VDI as individual elements

Hi @Palaniyappan

Can we install UiPath in VDI in the same way as we install in our local PC or any different steps are there?

Thanks,
Ula

yah same way
its either a machine right
so that involves the same process

Hi @Palaniyappan

I have 5 VDIs all sharing a centralized server and we are ready to purchase unattended bot with orchestrator. Is it enough to purchase only 1 unattended bot license and configure it to every user or how it works? Could you please give suggestion on this?

Thanks,
Ula

Yah we can do it
But make sure that how you are going to mange then in running those five process in a single robot
Like one can be run only when another completes till then another process will be in pending status

So we need to wait till each one complete only then another one can completes its execution

I hope that won’t be an emissive if we are running that in proper sequence with schedule option in orchestrator

Cheers @Boopathi

Great
Do we have any other queries to be discussed buddy

Hi @Palaniyappan

As of now, still we are not sure about the clients requirement or more detailed information about the VDI they are using. I will come back to you when I get more information. Thank you very much for all your suggestions.

Thanks,
Ula
