Block User Input Improvement

Hi all.

I would like to share an opinion about the Block User Input Activity.

I feel that the Block User Input activity works great for blocking small parts of a Workflow, but i think that it’s unconfortable if you want to block an entire Flowchart. You must embed the Flowchart into the Block User Input Activity.

Could it be possible to make the activity block user input when added to the beginning of the workflow as an independent activity (i.e. disable User Input) and unblock user input when added at the finish of the workflow again as an activity (i.e. enable User Input)?

This way, you have total control about blocking/unblocking user input while keeping workflow visibility.

Hope i explained.

Thank you all

Hi,
Thank you for your suggestion. I added it to our internal ideas tracker for our team to consider.

It would also be nice if there was a way to indicate when the user has unblocked input via the keys designated within the control.

I had problems with this activity. If I put in the unblock keys a key that it’s used in the process that key it’s not used when is needed. Example: I have alt+u to unblock my keyboard and in the process I write Youtube in a notepad, it Types Yotbe.

Is this the correct?
