Automation Development - Outlook and Excel Contacts
Hi,
I need to build a flow that connects Excel contacts to Excel automatically.
Only using:
The limitation is that I can only use the following activities:
Use Application/Browser, Click, Keyboard Shortcuts, Type, Get from Clipboard, If-Else, Assign, End Workflow.

I am using UiPath Studio version 22.4.8

Here is what I have done so far:

I used Use Application/Browser to open “Contacts.xlsx”

I selected and copied cell values ​​from Excel (A2, B2)

I saved them using Get From Clipboard

I combined them into one variable (fullName = firstName + " " + lastName)

I validated the value using a message box

Now I am not sure how to proceed with the automation part for Outlook and the web search part on Google.com as required by the assignment.

Do you have any tips or workflow examples on how to proceed from here (creating contacts in Outlook + checking Google search)?

Use Use Application/Browser → select Outlook window (desktop Outlook, not browser)

Use Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl + N → opens new mail (or use Outlook UI to click People/Contacts tab if available)

If using People/Contacts view:

Use Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl + N → new contact form.

Click on the “Full Name” or “First Name” input field.

Type Into → firstName

Click on “Last Name” → Type Into → lastName

(Optional: if email column exists)

Go back to Excel, copy email with the same technique, Get From Clipboard → email

Click in “Email” field in Outlook → Type Into → email

Finally, Keyboard Shortcut → Ctrl + S to save the contact.

For google - Use Use Application/Browser → open https://www.google.com

Click on the search box.

Type Into → fullName

Keyboard Shortcut → Enter

Wait a few seconds to let search results appear.

  1. For excel using use app/browser is not the way you have excel activities like use excel file and read range activities (UiPath.Excel.activities)
  2. For Outlook also you have related outlook activities like send email (UiPath.mail.activities)
  3. Use app/browser,click ,type into can be used for the google.com part

install specified packages to get related activities
