Assistant keeps folder locked

I’ve had this happen a few times and a reboot always fixed it. Today I found the specific cause - UiPath Assistant. After working on a project in Studio, I try to delete the project folder and it says it’s in use. I am able to delete all the files and folders inside it, just not the main project folder. After quitting UiPath Assistant I’m immediately able to delete the folder.

For some reason, Assistant/Robot is keeping hold of the folder despite the project not being open and not being running.

We couldn’t reproduce this scenario on our side. What Assistant version are you using?

Can you help me with clear steps to reproduce, please?

We are on 2023.4.4 of everything.

I can’t give you specific steps as I only just realized it’s Assistant that’s causing the problem. I’m a developer and am just doing normal daily activities of writing automations in Studio and running/debugging them in Studio. I’m sure the problem has something to do with Assistant being aware of what’s running in Studio and somehow locking the folder.
