Although the process is in the same folder with the asset, when adding a process in the package requirements windows the user gets: - an Asset - status "unknown", - link icon unavailable, - Name - not available
Issue Description
The Asset is showing as unknown although the permissions on the Folder containing the asset are set correctly.
Root Cause
The project is not working because it has an older version of the same UiPath.System.Activities 21.4.1. That version is not compatible with the Orchestrator version (the project was an older one that was migrated from an older Studio/Orchestrator version).
Resolution
Upgrade the UiPath.System.Activities package to the latest version 21.10.4 to solve the issue. After re-publishing the process the asset dependency is correctly identified by the Orchestrator.
Note: This issue can also arise in newer product versions due to UiPath's backward compatibility support. It's important to ensure that the version of the activity packages used in a project matches or is higher than the product version.
