Hi, in PDD, for the As-Is Process Map, I’d like to check on what should be included in it? Should it include all the manual process from the start to the end, or should it just include the process that will be automated?
Welcome to the community
it would contain highlevel about complete flow
and then in that flow show whihc would be automated
in detailed steps only the automated steps are captured
cheers
As-Is Process Map should show how the process works as of now be it manually or partially automated. To-Be Process Map will show the process execution flow after automation.
Yes @asuna
As-Is Process Map in the PDD should cover the complete manual process from start to finish. This helps clearly understand the current workflow and identify automation opportunities effectively, rather than focusing only on the parts planned for automation.
Thanks everyone for the replies!
I just want to check on one more thing, For the To-Be Detailed Process Map section, is that where I should include the legend to indicate which steps are automated and which are manual?
If so, does that mean I need to insert the Process Map again in that section, but this time with the legend included? Appreciate your thoughts on this!
@asuna
Indeed yes, you should include the legend in the to-be detailed process map to clearly show which steps are automated and which are manual. this means adding the updated process map with the legend in that section to differentiate automation clearly.
Depend on your org. mostly we are puting Automate procedure…
generally above this there would be a full flow diagram where we will generally represent which are manual and which one are automated
to be would not be at click level but the actual solution being used described as being implemented about the process in xamls
cheers

Hi, is there any example for To-Be Detailed Process Map, how to include the legend in it? Do we just include in the image? If so, is there any example of it?
