API Requests from Form Actions in an Instance of Action Center

Hi everyone,

I’m encountering issues with a client request. Despite reviewing the documentation and trying various code snippets, I haven’t been successful in resolving the problem.

I need to perform an HTTP GET request to a server or access a database (likely SQL) from within an action assigned to a user, which includes a single text field. The goal is to fetch data based on the user input and then display the results in the action form.

Does anyone know if this is feasible, and if so, how? I suspect that JavaScript may be the only solution. I am running Action Center from an on-premises Orchestrator setup, with the API/Database hosted on the same PC.
