Any way to export data from PowerBi to Excel/csv/json etc.?

Hi guys,

I am not familiar with PowerBi and basically, I am struggling with automation. What I am looking for is to export a report from Power BI to Excel/CSV/JSON or whatever, so I can fetch the data from the exported file afterwards. Using UI automation to apply filters and click on ‘export’ is not an option. As well as I cannot connect to a backend database behind the power BI.

Do you have any ideas on how I can deal with it? Any guidance will be appreciated.

I already have access to export the underlying data. However, now, I am looking for a solution to automate this export. As I already mentioned I cannot connect to the backend database, so I can easily fetch the data. What is more, I don’t want to use UI automation as the report layout may change.
