:loudspeaker: Hi all, We are excited to announce the GA release of Apps For Action Center on Cloud.
You can now build an action app in the UiPath App studio and use that app as the visualization and interaction experience for human actions in the Action Center.
:sparkles:What are the advantages of Apps integration with Action Center actions

  • Greater than the sum of their parts: Action apps combine efficient task oversight from Action Center with the versatility of Apps. This empowers you to build sophisticated human-in-the-loop (HITL) workflows and accelerate human-robot collaboration.
  • Rapid iteration: You can quickly redesign aspects of your action app without disrupting the workflow in Action Center, ensuring control and accountability across all processes.

:bulb:What kind of use cases one can build with Apps integration with Action Center actions?

  • For simple business tasks like Approve or Reject(HITL)
  • Task for data entry via Apps with a seamless developer experience.
  • Tasks to review AI prediction: Gen AI validations and Custom validation station for Document Understanding.

:point_right:What are the prerequisites for you to get started with building Action Apps?

  • The App creator role allows you to create and edit action apps.
  • To see the list of action apps in UiPath® Apps Studio, you must be the Co-author for the desired app.
  • To be able to run the action center activity ensure to have Persistence 1.5.9 version installed.
