I hope this message finds you well. I sented two contact message before and now my boss ask me to reinforce the question in the UiPath Forum. I am an interested user looking to use UiPath for personal purposes and I would like to clarify a question regarding the 60-day free version.
I understand that the free version of UiPath allows for usage of the software for a period of 60 days. However, I would like to know if, after the expiration of this period, I would still be able to use the robots I have created for personal use on my own machine. For example: I create an UiPath Robot to automatize an task, and I run it every day, if I use it after those 60(sixty) days would it have any restriction? My Robot would not be able to open again? I couldn’t run it to automatize my daily tasks?
If the creation and/or usage of new robots is not possible after the 60-day period of the free version, I would like to inquire if there is an alternative licensing option that is more affordable than the commercial license priced at 400€/$, which would allow me to continue using UiPath for personal purposes. Probably like the Enterprise One that you offer, but for one simple PC, maybe with upgrades for more PC’s, but, for now, only to 1 Personal Computer.
Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to your response.
So, if i want to use it on my personal device the robot i had created, can i run it without any problems? Or is there any restrictions? Simply to understand if i create an robot I could use it after those 60 trial days
@jmartins Yes you can use it after 60 days but in free community version their is some restriction:
UiPath Community Edition is indeed a free version of the UiPath software. It is intended for individual developers, small businesses, and learning purposes. It provides access to a wide range of features and capabilities for building and automating workflows.
UiPath Community Edition does not require a separate license to use. It is provided free of charge and can be used by anyone who meets the eligibility criteria. This makes it a popular choice for individuals and small organizations looking to explore and implement automation solutions.
It’s important to note that while UiPath Community Edition is free to use, it does come with certain limitations compared to the enterprise editions of UiPath. These limitations primarily include restrictions on the number of robots and orchestrator resources, as well as limitations on support options. However, for most individuals and small-scale automation projects, the Community Edition provides ample functionality and capabilities.
If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, feel free to ask. Good luck with your automation project!
Thanks for the answer!
By the way, Is there any limitation for my robot? My robot have to do this: Open a browser, going to a website and insert the credentials, export the excel files from there to an certain Folder and delete the previous files, but it have to do it in like 4 by 4 hours.
Thanks in advance!
@jmartins There is no such limitations in your process you can run it. Limitation comes when you try to run it on many numbers of Robot. But number of Robots totally depend on your workload.
