Advanced Training(Academy 2) - Assignment 1 Getting Credentials Error

Hi there,

I also get this one, while trying to run the Main.xaml for the assignment 1

“System error at initialization: Cannot create unknown type ‘{http://schemas.uipath.com/workflow/activities}GetSecureCredential’. at Source: Invoke workflow file: Invoke GetAppCredentials workflow: UiPath.Core.Activities”

Any thoughts on what might be wrong?

Kind regards,
Dimitrios

Did you get to solve this issue?

I had to create the whole assignment from scratch. That was the only way to make it work.
Still, I don’t know why this happened and how to solve it in the future …

Did you manage to pass?

100%

@Zara
Please follow the walkthrough and when you have some specific issue, then search the forum, where there are tons of answers for the most common mistakes/errors/misunderstandings.
If you cannot find something to help you, then ask your specific question. The more specifc and well-described your question is, the more chances to get a helpful answer you have.
Now. regarding your question, the answer is yes I can, if you stop spamming

Thanks.
Now my concern is in the import arguments while invoking the following workflows.
At the the time of importing arguments it is coming blank.
Any suggestion?

@dntakoulas
any help on this??

When you say ‘it is coming blank’ you mean that there are no arguments to import or the values for the imported arguments are null?

yes…it is coming blank in it

I still don’t understand what ‘it is coming blank’ means. Which of the following two happens?

  1. There are no arguments when you press ‘Import Arguments’ or

  2. The arguments exist but their ‘Value’ is empty

there is no argument when i press import argument

Super, let’s move forward.

To be able to import the arguments from Main (and any other workflow), you first need to create them the WorkItems.xaml workflow. I bet there are no arguments created.

On the other hand, not all workflows have arguments. If WorkItems workflow is such a case, then it is ok that you do not have any arguments to import.

Hi @Zara ,

I can see that this issue is now solved.

Could you be so kind to share the solution here, so others might benefit from it?

Hi there,
I am trying to do the assignment 1 but I am having issues.
I can´t run the main process and is says that: orchestrator information is not avaible

Can you help me please?
Thank you very much!

Sincerely, Gabriel

Is the robot connected to the orchestrator?
Have you saved your credentials in orchestrator assets using the same naming convention?

No, I don´t have a licence and I couldn´t find a trial of the robot software…

I essential to have a licence for the assignment 1?

Thanks for reply!

You can get a free tenant of Orchestrator for training purposes. See my post here: Orchestrator CE - #23 by Bolletje

I suggest doing this, as you need Orchestrator later on in the training for uploading queue items and then running a robot making use of those queue items.
