Adobe Illustrator issues

I’m new to UI Path and working my way through the tutorials. I’ve been working on a project that involves using Adobe Illustrator but I am struggling on getting the Desktop Recording to work with it. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn’t. It seems to be a selector issue but I can’t seem to find a reliable selector, like I said sometimes it’ll work but I have to manually edit every single selector path and sometimes to get it to “validate” results in that action not having enough info to actually work right. It seems to struggle with the frames/windows/UI. Anyone have any advice?

You have to find selector properties that do not change. Try capturing elements and check the properties that are static and select only those.

What is the best practice for Selector?

Hi, I’m suffering with the performance and accuracy of UI Element Selector. When I’m doing unit testing or run modular by modular, the automation is running fine which under acceptable level. However, when I put every piece together and run, it is either slow performance which take longer time to find an UI Element or just cannot find the UI Element which is showing there.
