My issues with the currently available Activity Creator Extension.
I would really like to see this extension upgraded, (and working more consistent)
Only made for VS 2019
Uses .Net Framework 4.6.1
The “Designer” generation doesn’t always get all arguments, often none of the arguments.
It would be nice to allow changing the .Net or at least upgrading to 4.8.

Hi @fred.bullmer
It took us a bit of time, but it is finally here!
A new version of the Activity Creator, the Visual Studio extension that generates custom activity code, has been released!
The latest version works in Visual Studio 2022 and generates activities compatible with .NET 6-windows so you can upgrade all of your .NET Framework activities to a modern version of .NET.
See here for more details, dependencies, and tutorials.
Breaking Changes:
You will now need a new feed added to your Nuget package sources in order to pull in the extension’s required…

Kudo’s to UiPath developers for aggressively improving this valuable tool in the past few months. It’s not the most intuitive tool, but it does get easier as you use it.
If I were to continue my “wish list” of features, it would be to load the current structure of the tools into the wizard and not wipe the custom development already done on existing activities.
Baby steps!
