Access to Github is denied when connecting to GitHub repository from UiPath Studio

Why does "Access to Github repository was denied" error occur when attempting to commit and push a project from Studio ?

Resolution

1. Install the UiPath GitHub extension

• • Go to https://github.com/apps/uipath/installations/new
  • Follow the prompt to install the extension.

2. Sign in to GitHub from UiPath Studio

• • Open UiPath Studio
  • Navigate to Team --> Git Init
  • Choose Use HTTPS
  • Select Sign in with GitHub

3. Authorize UiPath

• • After signing in, click Authorize UiPath when prompted. This allows UiPath to access the GitHub repositories

4. Push or Commit the Project

• • Once the project is connected to Git, commit changes or push the project to GitHub directly from Studio
