oddly this error just appeared at write cell, was able to run in the morning.
Intention is to open an excel, with a for each row loop, update value, save the excel file as excel A (i use copy file). Then continue the loop to repeat above to save B etc. etc.
however, after running 1 round, this error appears. Do you know why? T_T
i’m using classic excel as i find difficulties to use the new excel scope.
Is there a main sheet?
And is the file being used already?
Can you check in task manager and kill any. Running excel
And I hope the sheet is not locked

Excel Original

Save and copy file
Back to loop.
so technically the excel file is not close yet. (before bug appears, it took less than 1 min to run for all.)
i tried another way which is:
Loop
Excel Original
Save and copy file
It works however, the re-opening of excels is taking much longer time. (i.e 5mins in total)
Can you tell what you are trying to do…so that we can give you a best way for it if possible

What i need is as follows:
- Read a list i.e. Category A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H…
- Open 1 main excel (special template that contain smartview linkings) to update the category, refresh the data in that excel, then save it accordingly to a new excel File_A.
- Loop and do the same for the rest.
- Finally, there will be File_A.xlsx, File_B.xlsx… etc.
