Hi there, whenever I try to copy data from a website and paste it into excel, it also copies random spaces and so when I click into the cell, the formatting messes up. Is there a way to only extract the characters I want? I.E. I am attempting to web scrape the amount of repository results from github given the search input (cobol, java, python, etc.) and then creating a pivot table/chart to view the data. The data doesn’t show or sort correctly and I’m pretty sure it’s because it isn’t pasting into Excel correctly. Any advice? I tried to create a VBA in Excel to extract only the numbers and used that formula instead, but it does the same thing.
