When UiPath announced extension support in Studio 26.0.195, my first question was simple:
Can I install actual VS Code extensions inside UiPath Studio?
The answer is yes.
UiPath Studio now supports VSIX packages, which means many extensions from the VS Code ecosystem can be installed directly into Studio. To see how far this could go, I decided to experiment with a few completely different extensions — from a mini game, to an AI coding agent, to PDF and Word document viewers.
All extensions can be discovered, installed, and managed from the new Extensions panel in UiPath Studio.
