Upgrade to 2022.4.4 Failed - User Defined Package Sources No Longer Working

Upgrade to Studio 2022.4.4 Failed (likely due to pending Windows updates) and once the Windows updates were applied, and the Studio upgrade resumed and completed, my User Defined Package Sources for both ‘nuget.org’ and ‘ABBYY Vantage Connector’ are no longer working. I’ve deleted both and recreated and they still do not work.

I’ve confirmed the sources are valid and I can access both. I have another machine where the install completed normally (no Windows updates or other interruption) and these same two User Defined Package Sources are working correctly. Any ideas on how to resolve?

  • Are you having a proxy in place in the Studio machine? (Path to check: Start → Internet Options → Connections → LAN Settings
  • How do you install the Studio (User Mode or Service Mode)?
  • If the Studio was installed in Service mode and you have a proxy on the Studio machine, you may check this information: Managing Activities Packages and then restart the UiPath Robot service
  • Make sure that TLS 1.2 is enabled on the Studio machine, and TLS1.0 and TLS1.3 are disabled
  • You may try also the https://www.myget.org/F/workflow/, https://packages.uipath.com/activities, https://gallery.uipath.com/api/v2
  • When you are choosing the package source, start typing a package name, and in this way, the search trigger filter will start looking for results

Thank you Marian. Interestingly, it was none of these but your article on managing packages did illuminate the issue. I had somehow set a filter to include UiPath items only (as well as Pre-release which is Ok). I had not noticed the filter at all until I scanned the article. The filter icon was not included in my original screenshots so wouldn’t have been obvious to anyone viewing the post. Once I removed the filter, my user defined package sources were made available. Thank you again!
