Unable to Install Packages: "No compatible version with Windows projects" Error

Hi Community,

I’m experiencing an issue while trying to install certain packages in UiPath. When I attempt to add a package (e.g., UiPath.Jira.Activities), I receive an error message stating “No compatible version with Windows projects.”

Error Message: “No compatible version with Windows projects”

Additional Information:

  • UiPath Version: Enterprise Trial 2024.4.0
  • Screenshot attached for reference.

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

  • Tried installing other packages, but facing the same issue.
  • Ensured that my system is up to date.
  • Restarted UiPath and my machine.
  • I tried on both Windows and Cross Platform

The image shows a "New Blank Process" dialog box in UiPath, where a user can specify the process name, description, location, compatibility, and language before creating it. (Captioned by AI)

Has anyone encountered a similar issue or have any suggestions on how to resolve this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Hie @ImPratham45 not sure but you can try to download the UiPath older version where you get the Windows-Legacy option. because in the window option the Package is not supported … that’s why it not showing the install option . also the package you are trying to install is an older version
cheers … :grinning:

Thanks for the suggestion, @singh_sumit !

I understand the compatibility issue, but I don’t think downgrading UiPath is the best option. Is there a way to achieve compatibility with the current version, or any alternative solutions?

Thanks!

Hi @ImPratham45,

Good afternoon. Could you please try to create a new project and check whether you are able to add the Jira package there to scrutinize why you are experiencing this issue?

As Jira Activities have both Windows Legacy and Windows Compatibility, refer to the following link:
