UiPath Upgrade 2019.10 to 2021.11

I am currently running 2019.10 On-Premise orchestrator and was wondering if there is a step by step process of upgrading to 2021.11 On-Premise Enterprise Edition? I couple of questions I have regarding the upgrade process is the following:

When upgrading from 2019.10 to 2021.11, is there a way to do a rollback so if anything goes wrong with my processes or project, I can roll back?

Is there a way to only upgrade my Studio from 2019.10 to 2021.11 version so I can see what workflows/activities change within my project?

Is there a way to individually upgrade each component of UiPath (Orchestator, Unattended Robots, Studio) so I can test each component? Or is the Upgrade a All-in-One upgrade package?

If I am able to have different versions, will 2019.10 Studio work with 2021.11 Orchestator and vice versa?

Can I choice to upgrade to the 2021.11 version or does UiPath automatically upgrade me to the latest version of Orchestator?

Thank you.

UiPath does not provide an out-of-the-box rollback mechanism for Orchestrator upgrades. It’s essential to perform a thorough backup of your Orchestrator database, configuration files, and any customizations before proceeding with the upgrade. This way, you can restore the previous version if needed. Yes, it is possible to upgrade Studio independently from Orchestrator. You can install UiPath Studio 2021.11 alongside your existing 2019.10 version.

Thanks!!

You can choose to upgrade to 2021…but it is recommended to upgrade to latest version to get better benefits…

And you need to take backup before upgrade in order to recover

Cheers

Thank you for the quick reply! For the installs how can I upgrade them individually?

Thank you! I plan to upgrade to the latest version but want to take small steps to make sure that I understand what each upgrade does and how it can impact my projects.
